Welcome to Dubai, the famous emirate city.

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS.
Climate.

Between December and February, the temperature in Dubai fluctuates between 14ºC and 25ºC which makes it the best time to travel. February is the rainiest month with an average of four wet days.

Getting here.

Dubai has two world-class airports that provide thousands of international flights each week. Dubai International Airport and The newer al Maktoum International Airport.

Getting around.

Buses are a low-cost option to explore the city. You can hop on a bus at all of Dubai's airport terminals, with routes intersecting every major neighbourhood. They run 24-hours a day as often as every 30 minutes – just make sure to check your map to understand the extensive network.

Where to stay.

Dubai's hotels have made waves around the world, and we have some amazing home rentals too. You can find your perfect holiday rental via Airbnb and other licensed websites, which have seemingly countless homes to choose from, all vetted and approved to ensure your stay is safe, comfortable and clean.

THINGS TO SEE AND DO.

Nightlife

Spectacular, exciting and free! Perhaps you have already been to Barcelona and have seen the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. But listen to us. The Dubai fountains are an astonishing wonder. It is best to go at night to see the light show.

Sightseeing

Local arts and handicrafts are still commonly practised in Dubai and around the United Arab Emirates. Many examples can be found among the boutique shops around the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, with modern, artistic iterations often on show at various galleries within Alserkal Avenue.

Festivals

Visitors may be lucky to see men lined up in a row, performing Ayyala, holding thin bamboo canes and moving in sync to a percussive rhythm. Other forms of dance include Razfa, which often involves reciting lines of poetry and handling other objects, such as daggers or rifles

Day trip.

The United Arab Emirates is about more than Dubai: its capital city, Abu Dhabi, warrants a visit, too. This full-day trip lets you see it with ease. Traveling between the sights by air-conditioned minivan, it covers all the must-sees, with visits to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Photo stop at Emirates Palace, Etihad Towers, and more.
